Thanol holds an active stevedoring and port labour contract with the Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) at Kyela Port on Lake Nyasa, one of Tanzania's key inland waterway ports connecting the Southern Highlands to the Lake Nyasa region.
Our TASAC-licensed workforce handles all cargo operations at the port: loading and offloading vessels, cargo sorting and stacking, safety monitoring, and shift management. We operate to TPA's strict standards and comply fully with Tanzania's port labour regulations.
Thanol's entry into the port sector was marked by a significant milestone when President Samia Suluhu Hassan visited Itungi Port in Kyela, where our workforce was on active duty, a visible testament to the quality and reliability of our operations.
